Dear art lover!
I called this work of art “Modern Warrior” I gave this name because she looks like modern woman ready to fight I paint a fashionable woman image looking at you from the picture with her strong Asian glance
It seems like she is asking you what are you staring at? I called this work “Modern Warrior” because she reminds me of the great female warriors of the Kazakh steppes from ancient times. I was born in Kazakhstan. I forgot the Kazakh language, which I studied at school.
My ancestors of Slavic origin, who migrated to the Kazakh lands in search of survival, was Russian speaking people. I have no Kazakh blood in me, my great-great-grandfather was Russian and, in my family, there are Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian blood ancestors. But I grew up in the south of the country and my strongest childhood memory is the endless steppe and the smell of sagebrush. And now I watch films and YouTube travel video and read articles about my homeland in Russian and in English.
Recently, I watched the film Tomiris, a Kazakh feature film directed by Akan Sataev, about the queen of the Massagets people and their war with Cyrus the Great, the Persian king from the Achaemenid dynasty, who ruled from 559-530 Before Christ. The authenticity of this story is questioned, but for me, the idea of a warrior woman is important, which I project to our modernity.
Tomiris was the great queen of the steppe, who was destined to become a skillful warrior after her husband was killed and she fight for the folk independed. This story has turned into a myth, but it is very similar to our reality, when a woman stands face to face of difficulties, defends her borders, her freedom, her right to decide. Tomiris’ story inspired me, it shows the parallel between women of the past and the modern world.

My object of the art is Modern fashionable woman a now days warrior of on a life front.
Modern women are fighting on other fronts in this world. this fronts are career, love self-realization and so on. The woman needs to adapt to the modern world, be strong, and save femininity, but it is so hard to be simultaneously, isn’t it? Modern woman has to be fashionable, relevant, educated and at the same time elevate her man, do not show her self, how is it possible…
The modern woman should be interesting, bright, and talented but at the same time choose one man and serve him all her life, to gain social approval. A modern woman needs to make a career and give birth to children and take care of them, run a household, and at the same time be creative, and stay flexible, soft, and nice to everyone is it fair….
I admire strong modern women who organize their own businesses, make careers in companies, cultivate the strongest qualities in themselves, and go on the warpath for their best place in this world.
I am inspired by every woman’s story, the life story of a woman who was able to do something great in her life. My inspiration rolls in like a wave of great water, or like a stream of air. I physically feel this urge to express feelings, emotions, images that came to me at the moment of thinking about some ones life.
I study the stories of different women, both ancient and modern.
Each story influences me, my inspiration comes from the impression, delight, admiration, and respect that I experience, and now I draw my image of a modern female warrior.
In every story, I observe one pattern, regardless of whether a woman has a husband or a partner, or he doesn’t exist, or he’s gone suddenly, a woman achieves success only with one condition, she acts independently of a man, she did what she want, clearly following the goal. There is incredible strength in a woman’s desire, and in a woman’s intention to win, there is the potential for such power that it is better not to interfere with her and step aside.
Those women who suppress their desires to become something more, to earn more, to dream more, to afford more, live their wonderful lives, but I can imagine that before they die, they only regret about one thing, that they even did try. In my paintings, there are women who have a strong, direct view of the world, they have given themselves permission to act independently.
Like many others, I make this painting in monochrome version.
I use Black and white colors, with the addition of blue to give the black a deep shade.
In this image, I depict hair in straight wide stripes,
arranged exactly horizontally to show the strength of the wind,
to create an expression of movement.
At the same time, I depict the face and earrings calm and unperturbed under the external influence.
the very effect that allows the viewer to complete, think through and fantasize about the image.
Because as you know, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
I paint the picture with several different palette knives of different shapes. It is with different sizes and shapes of the blade that I could achieve the desired stroke and the best lines. The palette knife gives the painting a stunning effect. The paint goes on unevenly, in torn pieces where I need to add more layers.
Also, if I make the paint more liquid, it goes on smoothly. The palette knife allows me to bring to life the idea of incomplete, unexpressed totally, non-explicit, implicit style of my art.
This technique allows me to apply thick strokes of paint, creating relief rough lines, which creates a unique style. Layer by layer I apply paint from black to white. Each subsequent layer of paint is thicker, the paint is thicker. And white spots complete the image by emphasizing the light coming from the right.
I highlight the protruding parts with white paint, showing that light falls on them. And on the contrary, I indicate the shadow side with pure black, creating a clear contrast. The edge of the canvas is also painted to improve the aesthetics of the painting in the interior, so that you can hang this painting on the wall without an external decorative frame.
For Photoshop previews, I prefer photographs of a modern minimalistic interior, often monochrome colors, white, gray, black, light and calm, or brutal and dominant, because my paintings ideally fit into such a design. The main detail that I would like to highlight in this portrait is the face plunging into darkness. This is the light that falls from the right to the left side, highlighting and making the deep details. These details create the face of a modern woman It is always very important to think and talk about the impression that the picture makes.
Command stickers with the artwork. Nowadays, there is no need to drill a wall, or use nails to hang a picture. Special stickers can be used to hang the picture and maintain the integrity of the wall. Later, when you get tired of the picture, or you want to take it down and hang it in another room, you can easily do it without hooks or nails. I use special velcro for this purpose, and i also send these velcro stickers to my customers together with the painting. Packing depends on the size of the painting and buyer’s preference.
It is more convenient and easier to send paintings in a pipe, for this I use a double tube and soft materials for the interlayer. And I always shoot a video of the packaging process so that I can be sure and the customer can be confirmed that the painting will arrive safely, protected from mechanical impacts or hit and moisture. There are international shipping companies here in Turkey, I can send anything, anywhere. And since I live in Turkey, I will use the services of the DHL or UPS company, besides, they specialize in poisoning works of art and create good conditions for this. I send the client a tracking number by which you can always track the journey of my picture and observe at what stage of delivery it is at this moment. Thanks to this, you can be sure that everything goes according to plan.
You can purchase this painting in any way convenient for you.
Details of purchase, packaging, shipping and return can be seen under this video in the description.
