Dear art lover!
The idea of this painting appeared in contrast to contemporary art trends and due to the confrontation of recent events in the world, it is if I wanted to paint beauty in its physical, refined form Against to the modern expectations. I paint the female image which is in excessive and even inordinate jewelry, when sophistication borders on vulgarity. As always, I do not know what will happen as a result. I have formed a general idea in my imagination, and I begin to paint.
Conceptually, I want to depict the female image of high society, in expensive jewelry as an image of an unreal woman with no point, no story. It’s just a woman sitting in profile in earrings, gloves, in a tiara, in a necklace.
I paint one hand raised to the chin and a massive ring on the finger. Such a gesture in everyday life, as a rule, means a moment of reflection when the character is thinking. She looks dreamily up, along, as if thinking about something. So, what she was thinking about, only the audience can guess, because the meaning of the picture is always in the viewer’s imagination, no other way. The artist sets little meaning to his work, no matter what I want to say, each viewer will see something of his own. The object of my visual art is always a woman, in her diverse manifestations. Right now, my picture is of a brunette, with long hair gathered in a bundle in the back I chose pearls as the main element for jewelry.

A socialite, a lady of high society, who always has a special occasion where to wear such jewelry.
She is the embodiment of something that many of us cannot do. For example, ordinary women have no reason and opportunity to wear such jewelry, because it is not provided for by our social level and lifestyle. She is the embodiment of something that many of us cannot do. This captivating portrayal creates an impression of ethereal beauty and understated glamour, perfect for modern interiors seeking a touch of classical allure. It’s an ideal piece to grace the walls of a living room, elevating the ambiance with its timeless charm of
Step by step, I meticulously apply layers of oil paint on canvas, employing the glazing technique to achieve depth and richness in the colors. Each paint layer is mixed with linseed oil to enhance its flow and translucency. Patience is key as I wait several days for each layer to dry almost completely before applying the next one, ensuring a seamless integration of colors and textures.
This process is time-consuming, as it takes a month of dedication to complete the work. Gradients emerge gradually as I blend hues meticulously, transitioning from light to dark shades with precision. Throughout the process, I navigate the interplay of black and white colors, balancing contrasts to evoke depth and dimension in the composition. The final result is a harmonious masterpiece, where each layer contributes to the overall narrative of the painting.
A classic woman portrait adorns the canvas with timeless elegance, capturing the essence of grace and sophistication. Resting atop her head is a lustrous pearl tiara, radiating an aura of regal charm.
Long cluster earrings dangle gracefully, framing her face with delicate allure. Around her neck, a necklace in the form of a collar accentuates her neckline with refined beauty. A massive ring adorns her finger, adding a touch of opulence to her ensemble. Her hand, adorned in a glove, exudes poise and refinement, while her distant gaze hints at inner contemplation.
The painting was painted using a dry multilayer technique. Each new layer was applied to an already dry surface. Each new layer is thinner and more transparent. The glazing technique allowed us to achieve transparency and halftones.
For Photoshop previews, I prefer photographs of a modern minimalistic interior, often monochrome colors, white, gray, black, light and calm, or brutal and dominant, because my paintings ideally fit into such a design. The main detail that I would like to highlight in this portrait is the face plunging into darkness. This is the light that falls from the right to the left side, highlighting and making the deep details. These details create the face of a modern woman It is always very important to think and talk about the impression that the picture makes.
